WooCommerce POS
that knows where your stock is

A WooCommerce point of sale built for stores with real shelves, real staff and more than one stock location. Unlimited registers, per-location stock, split payments, parked carts and offline selling, with every sale landing in WooCommerce as a proper order.

The problem

Most WooCommerce POS ignores
where your stock lives

Selling at the counter should be the easy part. But a till that only sees one stock number, shares one login and stops working when the website hiccups creates more work than it saves.

Problem 1

One number, no idea where it came from

The till sells from a single pool. Your shop-floor stock and your warehouse stock get mixed together, and the count drifts from what's really on the shelf.

Problem 2

Everyone shares the same login

Giving staff WordPress access just so they can ring up a sale is a risk. Nobody can tell who sold what, and you can't limit anyone to their own till.

Problem 3

The shop stops when the website does

A slow connection or a site update shouldn't mean a queue at the counter and sales scribbled on paper to type in later.

Problem 4

End of day is a guessing game

Cash up, then work out what sold, where and how it was paid. Without per-register reporting, every discrepancy becomes an argument.

The solution

A WooCommerce point of sale built around your stock

Stokkap is a POS for WooCommerce that runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or till, and sells straight from the stock locations you've already set up.

Take payment your way, in one or more parts

Record cash, card or any other method against the sale, with a reference if you need one. Quick cash buttons and automatic change keep the counter moving, and Split Payment lets one sale be paid across several methods.

  • Split one sale across multiple payment methods
  • Quick cash buttons and automatic change
  • Optional payment reference
  • Or hand over to a WooCommerce payment link
Stokkap POS payment screen showing total due, change, Adjust Total and Split Payment buttons, payment method, amount received, a reference field and quick cash buttons.

Discounts, fees and one-off prices

Adjust the total or apply a percentage discount in a tap, add a fee or shipping line, or change the unit price for this sale only. The catalogue price stays exactly as it was.

  • 5%, 10% and 20% discount shortcuts
  • Or set the total you want to charge
  • Add a fee or shipping line
  • Unit price edits apply to that cart line only
Stokkap POS Adjust Total screen with discount options, subtotal, total adjustment, tax, total due and an Add Fee or Shipping button. Stokkap POS Edit unit price keypad, noting that the change applies to every unit on this cart line and the catalogue price stays unchanged.

Park a sale and come back to it

Suspend a cart when a customer pops out for their purse or you are needed elsewhere. Suspended carts are named and time-stamped, so you can resume the right one or delete it.

  • Name each cart, such as with the customer's name
  • See item count, value and time at a glance
  • Resume or delete in one tap
Stokkap POS Suspended Carts list showing three named parked carts with item counts, totals, and Resume and Delete buttons.

Set up each register for the job

Choose the default sale status and source, which locations the catalogue shows, and which location sells first. Every register keeps its own settings.

  • Depletion priority override per register
  • Limit the catalogue to chosen location types
  • Optionally block out-of-stock products from the cart
  • Preset order sources such as Walk-in
Stokkap POS Edit Register form with register name, depletion priority override, default sale status and source, catalogue location types and source presets.

Till reports and analytics

Review every register session by date, register and status: sales, totals, expected cash and cash variance, plus payment and daily totals. Then chart sales by register, source and payment type.

  • Expected cash and cash variance per session
  • Payment totals and daily totals
  • Download the report or a session CSV
  • Sync issues flagged so nothing slips through
Stokkap POS Reports tab showing sessions, sales, sync issues, total and cash variance, with payment totals, daily totals and register sessions. Stokkap POS Analytics tab with filters for register, sale source and payment method, summary figures and a daily totals bar chart.

Everything your WooCommerce POS needs at the counter

Stokkap POS is part of the same app as your stock, so the till and the stockroom always agree.

POS integration with WooCommerce

Every sale goes straight into your store, so WooCommerce stays the single source of truth for orders, stock and customers.

A real WooCommerce order for every sale

Each sale creates a WooCommerce order at the status you choose, such as Processing or Completed.

Stock updates straight away

Stock syncs live to WooCommerce, with retry support if something goes wrong, instead of waiting for a scheduled sync.

Customers and tax from WooCommerce

Create or edit a WooCommerce customer at the till, or check out as a guest. Tax is calculated by WooCommerce.

Pay via WooCommerce

Hand over to a WooCommerce payment link or QR code when the customer would rather pay on their own phone.

Who it's for

A till for the way you actually sell

Gyms, clubs and studios with a shop

"The shop stock is separate from what's in the back store."

Run the front-desk till from your Gym stock location while Warehouse stock stays untouched. Staff sell without ever opening WooCommerce.

High-street shops with a stockroom

"The till says we have it, but is it on the shelf?"

Sell from the shop floor first and let the stockroom top up behind it. Depletion priority keeps the counts honest without anyone doing sums.

Busy counters with several tills

"Two of us are serving and I can't tell who rang up what."

Give each register its own staff and its own close report. Park a cart when a customer pops back for their purse, and carry on serving.

Markets, pop-ups and queue busting

"We're at an event with a phone, a tablet and patchy signal."

Open Stokkap in the browser, scan items with the phone camera, and take payment by QR code. Orders still arrive in WooCommerce.

How the Stokkap POS app works

From connected store to first sale in a few steps.

1

Connect your store and organise your stock

Link your WooCommerce store, then organise your stock into locations such as Shop Floor, Warehouse or Gym Stock. Locations are optional if you would rather sell from your WooCommerce stock.

2

Create a register

Name the register, choose which locations it sells from, set up your receipts, and assign the staff who work on it. Tax is handled by WooCommerce, so there is nothing extra to set.

3

Start selling

Scan or search products, then choose an existing WooCommerce customer, create a new one, or check out as a guest. Apply any discount, then take payment on your terminal or send a payment link.

4

Sync, close and review

Each sale creates a WooCommerce order at the status you chose, with stock updated straight away. Close the till and review the report.

Part of complete inventory management

POS works with every other Stokkap feature.

Stock behind the till

Multi-location stock tracking
Depletion priority rules
Transfers between locations
Stocktakes with full audit logging

Control and accountability

Granular staff permissions
Location-based access
Full audit trail of every sale and adjustment
No WooCommerce admin access needed

WooCommerce POS FAQs

Common questions about Stokkap POS.

What is a WooCommerce POS system?

A WooCommerce point of sale lets you ring up in-person sales and have them recorded as real WooCommerce orders, so stock, reporting and customers stay in one place. Stokkap POS does that on any device with a browser, and sells from your own stock locations.

Is Stokkap a POS WooCommerce plugin or a separate app?

Stokkap is a browser-based app that connects to your WooCommerce store through the Stokkap WordPress plugin. Sales become WooCommerce orders and stock stays in sync, without an app store or special hardware.

Does Stokkap POS work with the stock locations I already have?

Yes. Stokkap POS uses the same multi-location stock as the rest of Stokkap. You can limit a register to specific locations, such as Gym stock, Warehouse stock or shop stock, and set depletion priority to control which location sells first.

Do I need to use multiple locations to use Stokkap POS?

No. Multi-location stock is optional. A register can include WooCommerce-managed products, which are shown regardless of location assignments and use their normal WooCommerce stock quantity and status. So you can start selling with the stock you already have in WooCommerce, and add locations later if you need them.

Can I restrict a register to certain locations?

Yes. Each register has its own catalogue settings, so you can limit it to selected location types, such as Shop only, and keep warehouse or supplier stock out of that till. You can also set a depletion priority for the register, which is separate and controls which location sells first, and choose whether out-of-stock products can be added to the cart.

Can I use more than one register?

Yes. You can set up unlimited registers and tills. Each register can have its own staff, its own stock location and its own close report.

Do staff need a WordPress or WooCommerce login?

No. Staff are assigned to a register and work outside WordPress, so they can sell without any access to your WooCommerce admin.

What should I look for in the best POS for WooCommerce?

Look for live order and stock sync, stock by location rather than one total, staff accounts that don't need WordPress admin access, reports per register, and a clear way to handle payments. Stokkap is built around those. Whichever POS you compare, check how it handles multiple locations, offline selling and payments, because that is where store requirements differ most.

Can I use it as a WooCommerce POS app on an iPad or phone?

Yes. Stokkap POS is browser based, so it runs on iPads, Android tablets, phones and laptops. You can add it to the home screen on iPhone and Android, and use the camera to scan barcodes.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Stokkap POS keeps working when WooCommerce is unavailable, and orders sync when your store is reachable again. Offline selling is available when tax calculation isn't in use.

How do customers pay?

Ring up the sale in Stokkap, then enter the total on whatever card machine or payment terminal you already use, such as Stripe, PayPal Zettle or another provider. Once the customer has paid, record the payment method in Stokkap and complete the sale. You can also send a WooCommerce payment link or show a QR code so the customer pays on their own phone. Add a customer to the order, or check out as a guest.

Does Stokkap POS work with a card reader, or integrate with Stripe and PayPal Zettle?

You can use any card reader or payment terminal alongside Stokkap. Start the sale in Stokkap, enter the total on the terminal, then record the payment in Stokkap. Built-in integrations are not available yet. We are working on them for providers including Stripe and PayPal Zettle, with others to follow.

What happens to WooCommerce when I make a sale?

Stokkap creates a WooCommerce order straight away, at the status you choose (for example Processing or Completed). Syncing is live rather than scheduled, with retry support if something goes wrong along the way.

Does it work with a barcode scanner, or do I need special hardware?

Yes, it works with any basic barcode scanner, and you don't need special hardware. You can also scan with your phone camera, or look products up manually by name, SKU or barcode. Stokkap POS runs in a browser on any phone, tablet or laptop and can be added to the home screen on iPhone and Android.

Can a customer pay part by cash and part by card?

Yes. Use Split Payment to divide one sale across more than one payment method. Quick cash buttons and automatic change keep cash sales fast.

Can I check my till at the end of the day?

Yes. Every register session is reported with its sales, totals, expected cash and cash variance, plus payment totals and daily totals. Download the report, or a CSV for a single session.

Can I change a price at the till?

Yes. You can edit a unit price for the current checkout session only, without changing the product in your catalogue. You can also adjust totals and apply discounts.

Does it support receipts and tax?

Yes. You can customise receipts, print gift receipts, and use WooCommerce tax settings at the point of sale.
